Everything here is for education and research. The texts describe medicines, procedures and regimens as their authors wrote them centuries ago. Nothing on the site is medical advice, a diagnosis or a prescription, and it is no substitute for a qualified physician. Do not start, stop or change any treatment because of something you read here.

The word by word meanings, the English and Hindi translations, the chapter summaries and the dravya tables were produced with the help of AI language models and are still being proofread. They can contain mistakes. Check anything that matters against the Sanskrit text and a qualified teacher. We welcome corrections.

• Reading needs no account. Some features need you to sign in with Google.
• Use your own account, keep it secure, and give accurate details. University access is for that university's students and staff.
• We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the site or other people at risk.

• Read, quote and cite it for personal study, teaching and research, with a reference to AyuReader and to the underlying source.
• The Sanskrit texts themselves are ancient and in the public domain. The digital editions, gold word analyses, dictionaries and terminology we build on belong to their own makers and carry their own licences, some of which allow non-commercial use only. Those sources are credited on the pages that use them.
• The translations, word meanings, summaries, tables, design and software made for AyuReader belong to its makers. Please ask before republishing them in bulk or using them commercially.

• Copy the site or large parts of it by automated means, or run crawlers or scripts that load it heavily.
• Try to reach parts of the site, data or accounts that are not open to you, or get around access limits.
• Disrupt the site, probe it for weaknesses without our written permission, or upload anything harmful.
• Use the site to break the law or other people's rights.

When you flag a verse or propose a correction, you allow us to use, edit and publish it as part of the site without payment, and to record that you made it. Do not submit text you have no right to share, such as passages copied from a copyrighted book.

The site is offered as it is, free of charge, and may change, be interrupted or be withdrawn. Features may move between account types. If paid plans are introduced, their own terms will be shown before anyone is charged.

We work to keep the texts and layers accurate but give no warranty that they are complete or free of error. To the extent the law allows, the makers and operator of AyuReader are not liable for loss or harm arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions, permission requests, reports of a problem with the content and notices of infringement go to contact@ayureader.in. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
